I have not slept since you left Crickets have moved into my walls I guess they realized how empty They were, too.

One breath after the other but never does one breath mean more than the another; I am tired of the loop. My parents told me that I could be anything I wanted- All I've ever wanted was to be happy. Why did they lie?

I fell in love with a girl who had a long-term love affair with suicide; while broken it may have been, her awakening in fits of desperate passion and lust for the stillness of death. On those long drunken nights I'd sit by her, the warmth of vodka tears seeping through the fabric of my button-up, and two frail bones painted apricot wrapping around my neck. Her vulnerability was her only weakness, she thought. She was able to always maintain her façade of health, her composure; but she broke down on the inside when the lights shut down and the cameras went off. Then she would go numb; or worse. Though delicate and rosy as the pink She is not the pastel But the artist She crafts minuscule masterpieces That hang on the edges of your cheeks in rosy patches That roll off of your tongue like sugary venom And dive into your ear canals with finite precision Their beauty is as the wind Unnoticeable yet omnipresent and When they hit you, you feel it in your bones.
